Join us for a virtual event to preview and provide feedback on our draft tool registry.

The Priority 3 Metrics Registry is a growing resource that gathers and organizes tools related to quality maternal and newborn care (QMNC) research. It aims to highlight where strong metrics already exist—and where more are needed.

We’re now entering a crucial next phase: reviewing and refining the draft registry.

In this interactive session, we’ll:

  • Present the initial set of selected tools
  • Share how we’re organizing and evaluating these metrics
  • Introduce a new space on our online platform where members can view materials, join the discussion,
  • and share feedback
  • Dedicate time for Q&A and discussion

Your insights are essential. Whether you’ve been deeply involved in the tool registry or are just starting to explore it, we welcome your perspective.

Registration is required and is free for QMNC members.

Meet the Co-Facilitator, Florence Darling
QMNC Research Fellow

Florence Darling PhD, MSc in Public Health and Clinical Research Methods, BSc in Midwifery is a retired midwife and currently a fellow with the QMNC research alliance. Florence's main interest is in understanding the use of preventative approaches to support physiological labour and birth in all birth settings. Her PhD explored influences on the implementation of a physiological care approach in two labour wards. Her thesis is available in https://openaccess.city.ac.uk/id/eprint/32545/. Florence is currently working on two projects with the QMNC alliance focused on exploring metrics and tools to understand care across the five core components of the QMNC framework, and developing a registry of these metrics/tools.
